Overwatch 2 has launched their first-ever crossover collaboration event, bringing tons of in-game cosmetics and skins inspired by the famous One Punch Man. Fan-favorite heroes like Genji, Doomfist, and Soldier: 76 get a fun makeover - anime style - as they become characters from the show.
While this special event doesn't include unique arcade modes like the previous Valentine's Day Loverwatch event, it does feature some fun gameplay challenges and amazing cosmetic rewards. The Overwatch 2 One Punch Man event began on March 7, ending on April 6, which gave players plenty of time to unlock these quirky cosmetics.
Here is everything you need to know about the Overwatch 2 x One Punch Man collab, including how to get the free unlockable cosmetics.
The stars of the show are the three legendary skins: Saitama Doomfist, Genos Genji, and Terrible Tornado Kiriko, the former being inspired by One Punch Man's protagonist. These skins can only be purchased using Overwatch Coins, the premum in-game currency.
Blizzard Entertainment is selling these premium One Punch Man cosmetics in bundles. Here is what each bundle includes and the prices.
Players can also purchase the One Punch Man Mega Bundle, which costs 4,400 Overwatch Coins. It includes all three legendary skins and the other cosmetics in one bundle.
Many of the cosmetics were unlocked through various gameplay challenges, with six challenges in total for the entire event duration. Each challenge gives the player with a One Punch Man cosmetic item and winning a game grants the player double the progress towards challenge completion and 5,000 Battle Pass XP. For example, a win counts as two games, rather than one.
These challenges are relatively easy and should take players only a short time to complete, as they can be achieved in any Quick Play or Arcade modes.
